Cali Osborne - Executive Director
Cali is a graduate of the University of Washington School of Public Health where she received a BA in Public Health with a focus in Health Policy. After graduating, Cali moved to Leavenworth and took up seasonal work in agriculture, including working for the local gleaning program and as a hand on an organic farm.
After serving on the Board of Directors and as the Market Manager for LCFM, Cali stepped into the position of Executive Director in 2020. In this role, Cali is excited to bring energy to the Market year-round, so we can expand our food access programming and better support our local agriculture industry.
When Cali is off the clock, she can be found recreating in rivers and mountains, hanging with her fur-babies, and volunteering on farms.

Brittanie Butler - Assistant Market Manager

Hi, my name is Brittanie! I am a small business owner, and mother to three incredible kids. As a proud special needs mother, I dedicate my non working hours to the support and growth of my family. I direct that passion of supporting individuals and the community within my business and work as the Assistant Market Manager. I look forward to working more with our local farmers and expanding community connections through our Markets.

Lauren Peterson

President

As a Plain resident for the last 4 years, I am committed to seeing our community and farmers grow, collaborate, and succeed. I have worked with the LCFM for the last 4 years as a Non-Profit Consultant and as the Administrative Manager. I am excited to have the opportunity to transition to the Board as we watch our new Executive Director take the reins and move the organization forward.

I have worked for organizations of various sizes and missions in Washington State and worked all over the development spectrum: event management, individual giving, sponsorship programs, volunteer management, grant writing, board development, external communications, and rebranding. I am excited to continue to put these skills to use with LCFM.

When I’m not thinking about the Market, I can be found: tending to our newly planted cider apple orchard in Plain; on a bike; on my yoga mat; or in the mountains hiking or skiing. Most of these activities involve my husband, Ross, our sweet toddler, Cedar, and our adorable labradoodle, Salty.

Hernan Savastano

Vice President

After 20 years in the Seattle corporate tech world, our family decided to leave the city and move closer to nature. My wife Angela and I had fallen in love with the mountain beauty of Leavenworth over the years, but in 2017 we finally bought Snowgrass Lodge on Icicle Rd. to fulfill our dream of creating a wellness retreat and nature sanctuary for people to reconnect. We are committed to building community around healing and wellness. So our vision is very aligned with the market’s mission of providing access to healthy local foods and building community around it to support farmers and sustainable practices. The 2021 season will be my third as LCFM Treasurer and Executive Board member. When I’m not thinking about the market or Snowgrass, I’m loving on our baby daughter Raina, playing guitar, cooking, hiking or enjoying the river.

Eric Stoll

Secretary

Eric Stoll is an experienced attorney and mediator and founder of The Stoll Group | Law & Mediation, focusing on business and corporate transactions and trusts and estate law. Eric has been on the LCFM board since December 2020.

Prior to joining the LCFM board, Eric served on the board of directors for the Ballard Food Bank in Seattle, from 2013 through 2019, including work on executive committee as treasurer and vice president. Currently, he is also a board member at large for the Dispute Resolution Center of King County, and a board member at large for the Ballard Alliance (formerly Ballard Chamber of Commerce), where he was previously public policy chair and co-president.

Eric and his family (wife Emily, sons Will (14) and Alex (13), and pound pup Lily) live primarily in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood, but they have a place on River Road in Plain where they spend a lot of time in all seasons. The Leavenworth area has very much become Eric’s second home!

When Eric isn’t practicing law or enjoying time with his family and friends on the river and in the mountains, he enjoys playing guitar. Some day he hopes to open a stringed instrument shop in Leavenworth!

As a new resident to Leavenworth as of Oct. 2018 I was looking for meaningful ways to connect to my new community. The Farmers’ Market seemed like a great place to start. Offering my professional skills as an educator/teacher and an event planner (both retired) to the board and on market days has been a great experience. I get to meet and mix with market day shoppers, community sponsors and donors, and plan with a wonderful, energetic board of directors. I am an industrious person who loves to be a part of a creative process. I encourage you to watch the market closely. I believe you will see it evolve, recreate itself as the needs change, and be ever creative as it plans to serve the community of Leavenworth.

Ali Allen

Member at Large

A native Minnesotan, Ali has a love for the outdoors that runs deep in her roots. Ali cultivates her passion by spending as much time outside, whether it's skiing, hiking, running, gardening, or going to the beach, alongside her husband and two young children. Currently, Ali's primary focus is raising a toddler and a preschooler and keeping her family in order. Ali brings a wealth of experience running small organizations, most recently, as the Executive Director of a small Seattle-based non-profit. Community-serving organizations are Ali's bread and butter. As a new transplant to Plain, she looks forward to getting more involved and helping to serve and become more connected to the community.

Heleene Tambet

Member at Large

Heleene comes from Estonia where her family runs a small farm, raising sheep and growing oats. She works for the International Food Policy Research Institute, analyzing the impacts of nutrition and agricultural programs in Sub-Saharan Africa, but her interests span across everything food systems related. She's been involved in projects starting from selling bread at San Francisco farmers markets, to coordinating food waste campaigns and composting projects, to co-founding a print magazine on food origins. Heleene's been a huge admirer of LCFM's doings for years now, and eager to put her energy into two of the causes closest to her heart—creating opportunities for small farms, and connecting communities through food. When she's not thinking of food or agriculture, Heleene is trail running, Nordic skiing, writing for Estonian media, or adventuring with her partner, Pierre.
