LCFM is excited to announce our partnership with the new Cashmere Community Farmers Market!
In fall of 2020, a passionate group of Cashmere locals sought out and received a grant from the North Central Accountable Community of Health's Coalition for Health Improvement (NCACH CHI). These funds will go directly to the revival of the Cashmere Market! The Cashmere team reached out to LCFM in September regarding partnering and since the grant was awarded we have proceeded to develop and progress into a formalized partnership wherein we will primarily share staff and resources.
Our goal in this partnership is to expand local food access in the valley through intentionally establishing a Cashmere Market that will be reliable for both customers and vendors for many years to come.
For vendors, our partnership with Cashmere means more markets in your area! Choose what's more convenient or add another sales day to your schedule! We strategically planned Cashmere's Market to be on Sunday mornings so it wouldn't overlap with Leavenworth or Wenatchee markets. Furthermore, vendors who attend both Leavenworth and Cashmere Markets will pay a discounted rate on their Annual Membership Fees.
For customers, our partnership with Cashmere means more options! More days of the week to get fresh veggies, a different schedule (in case you always work during Leavenworth's market), more vendors, and more FUN!
For our Sponsors and Donors, this partnership means more impact and more exposure! Your contributions to LCFM and CCFM will provide support for both markets and therefore both communities (unless otherwise specified). Additionally, one of the benefits to Market Sponsors is having their logo and business information promoted through Market materials, social media and on our Sponsor banner. Cashmere Community Farmers Market will be held on Sundays, from 9-1 opening on Mothers Day, May 9th. The location is not yet finalized, but we will update you soon!
